Book release and SDCC news update
Hey everybody!
I’m absolutely thrilled and about as giddy as a cat in a cardboard box to announce that my book Diary of an Indoor Cat officially launched today!
If you’re a member of my Patreon tribe, you’ve been along for the two to three-year ride to get this novelette finished, reading ‘diary entries’ as the book took shape. Several drafts and edits later, countless hours of learning and watching YouTube videos about publishing, dozens of writer’s group meetings that provided me with invaluable advice, I have finally finished it!

It is now available as an eBook and printed copy (softcover) through several outlets - from Barnes and Noble, Apple, Kobo to Thalia and yes, even Amazon/Kindle. Here’s the link to purchase my book: https://books2read.com/CatDiaryPiaThrasher
(Fun fact: This is about the only non-horror or creepy creation of mine you can buy these days!) ;)
About Diary of an Indoor Cat:
Chucky is a quirky rescue kitty ... and he's got some things to say!
Follow along as he dishes out about life with his two "flawed" humans, his brother from another mother Ozzy; and how he wants to be like his hero, Momo, a regal outside cat.
From the terror of vet visits, enduring horrible food, stalking weird strangers, to the joy of "magic sprinkles," his take on feline life will have you laughing and nodding in recognition.
This warm and witty read celebrates friendship, family, and the silly moments that make living with cats so special. Perfect for reading with a kitty purring in your lap—Diary of an Indoor Cat will have you seeing your furry friends in a whole new light.

It’s a fun and easy read for cat lovers of all ages, it offers a sorely needed escape from our news hellscape and helps you appreciate the funny, loving moments that come with life alongside cats.
A huge thank you to J.R., my husband, for always believing in me and talking me off the ledge when I doubted myself; to my editors Morgan M. Hurley and Lexy Tanen for their patience; and of course, to all the kitties who have shared their lives and inspired me over the years!
I can’t wait for you to meet Chucky and share in his world! Time to pop a bottle of champagne - CHEERS!
In other news:

It’s that time of year again…SDCC is next week! Which means I’ll be bringing original art for the auction/quick sale again. Can you believe this is my 11th year participating in the Art Show!?!

My Her Dark Half art theme this year: my goofy eyeball character “Miss I” aka “Miss Eye”, back because… you asked! I really need to work on some stickers for these!
The Art Show is held at the Manchester Hyatt again and you don’t need a Comic-con badge for it - it’s open to the public. For detailed info, dates and times, check out their official website.
Maybe I’ll see you at SDCC? Holler!

That’s it for today - I hope you all have a great summer!
If I haven’t heard from you in a while and you’d like to say hi, please drop me a quick message by replying to this newsletter or writing to [email protected]. You can also communicate with me via the usual methods on social media. Or find ALL the links and go down the rabbit hole here!

Dark Greetings,
